The Long Paws Comedy Club in Wells, is back on Sunday, November 11, with a bill featuring four top comics. Headlining the show is energetic, self-proclaimed "tough luvvie" Hal Cruttenden.

Hal has performed on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, The Royal Variety Performance and Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford, and he's just recorded an episode of Live at the Apollo, due to be broadcast this December.

His charming, everyman appeal and super-sharp gags have made him one of the most sought-after acts on the circuit, and earlier this year he was nominated for Best Club Comic at the Chortle Awards.

He last performed at Long Paws back in 2006, supporting secret special guest Simon Pegg.

Support comes from young, dry Norwegian comic Daniel Simonsen.

Daniel was awarded the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe, has performed on Russell Howard's Good News and recently supported Simon Amstell on his UK tour.

His deadpan tales of socially awkwardness have won him heaps of critical praise.

Also performing is quirky Aussie comic Bec Hill. Named by Time Out London as one of the Top 10 comedians on Twitter, Bec's charming delivery, beautifully crafted puns and live flip-chart comic books are wonderfully funny.

Compere for the evening is storyteller James Dowdeswell.

Having performed at the very first Long Paws gig back in 2005, it's been seven years since James last visited Wells.

He's back to host the show, following an appearance on Russell Howard's Good News and playing The Count in Gervais and Merchant's Extras.

The show takes place at Wells Little Theatre on Sunday, November 11.

Tickets are available from www.longpawscomedy. co.uk or 08444 771000, priced £10 in advance (plus booking fee).
