A second Christmas Tree Festival will be held this December in Castle Cary Methodist Church, Upper High Street, Castle Cary.
It aims to welcome in the Christmas season and coincide with the town's Big Christmas celebration.
Trees are provided for local charities and organisations to decorate in such a way as to represent the organisation.
The festival starts on Thursday, December 6, and a number of activities will also be held during the weekend.
Opening at 5pm on the Thursday, there will be a children's workshop making Christmas ornaments and the display will be open until 8.30pm.
On Friday, December 7, the festival is open from 10am to 4pm with Castle Cary Choir's Christmas concert at 7.30pm.
Entrance by donation – proceeds to be divided between Cystic Fibrosis and the Methodist Church.
On Saturday, December 8, once again the festival is open from 10am to 4pm and at 7.30pm there will be a short service of Christmas music and readings for quiet reflection.
Finally on Sunday, December 9, the festival will be open from 2pm to 4pm culminating in a Carols Round the Tree service at 4pm, suitable for all ages from toddlers to grandparents.
