Companies from mid Somerset will join dozens from across from the South West at the City Centre Marriott Hotel in Bristol next week for the first Made in the South West Awards.
Companies shortlisted for the awards include Thatchers Cider and Wyke Farms of Bruton in the Food and Drink category.
The awards will be hosted by Points West reporter Dave Harvey, with the keynote address given by Graham Cole CBE FRAe, chairman of Agusta- Westland.
Company representatives will also be hearing from Bonnie Dean, chief executive of Bristol & Bath Science Park.
The Made in the South West Awards are sponsored by Barclays, Foot Anstey, Grant Thornton, GoIndustry, G4S, TasteTech and University of Bristol.
