Lansdown Commercials has taken on the franchise of DFSK mini vans for the Bath and West area. The company has been in Weston since 1982 at its Mazda dealership at the High Street the village and has built up a local reputation for customer service that's second to none, said Oliver Sacco, director.

"We look forward to speaking to our local business community about the excellent flexibility and economy that DFSK vans offer," he said.

So that the company can offer the best service possible it has a dedicated sales person in Rob Fox, said Oliver.

He added: "Whether you are a florist, an electrician, a carpenter or anyone with a trade, or perhaps you manage the fleet of a local authority, the Loadhopper makes a great deal of sense from both a payload and financial point of view.

"In fact, with its low running costs it could be ideal for anyone who needs a smaller commercial vehicle anyone who spends most of their time trundling around town centres or country roads."

Motoring website VansA2Z named the Loadhopper as the UK's 'Best Microvan of 2012'.

DFSK UK, China's third largest vehicle manufacturer, is the trading name of Vestatec Automotive Distribution and is the official United Kingdom and Ireland importer and distributor for the Chinese mini van manufacturer.

VAD is based in Swindon and is led by Jim Tyrrell, chairman, who was previously managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK.

DFSK UK launched the Loadhopper range in October 2011. Prices start from £7,999 for the Loadhopper Single Cab Pickup. These models all have the same platform and power train.

Key benefits of these vehicles are that they are Euro 5 compliant, have a short overall length and small overhang but a large load volume and good payload. They also have a small turning circle.

All vehicles will be sold with one-year roadside assistance and a three-year warranty as standard, the first two years with unlimited mileage and the third year providing cover up to 60,000 miles.

Customers can take advantage of a three-year Loadhopper Care Plan which will cover labour costs and standard service items for the first three services plus the second and third year roadside assistance for just £400 plus VAT. To contact Rob Fox, call 01225 312200.
