Police arrested 37 people during 24 hours of action for Operation Relentless last week including several operations in Street and Shepton Mallet.
Four drugs warrants were carried out and officers in Street seized a quantity of cannabis and arrested one man while in Shepton Mallet police seized suspected Class A drugs, believed to be heroin, and also made an arrest in connection with this.
Throughout the course of the day and night other activity included arrests on suspicion of bilking, theft, burglary and criminal damage as well as for non-payment of fines.
The raids took place on Tuesday, November 13.
Insp Jamie Rees said: "This was a very successful day of action. We carried out a number of warrants from the early hours of the morning with teams looking at a range of offences, such as drugs offences, theft and burglary.
"The arrests have included arrests for non-payment of fines and for failing to appear at court. All these offences have had an impact on a victim somewhere down the line and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice."
